TerrorBytes Robotics and Cary Car Care
Cary Car Care is contributing to TerrorBytes Robotics
in an effort to help support local high school students. We’re hoping our awesome network of people will also consider contributing.
First and foremost, the goal of TerrorBytes Robotics is to provide STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) education to high school students from across 10 counties in NC. They are based out of Research Triangle High School but membership is open to any student regardless of school or location. TerrorBytes DOES NOT turn students away for any reason (even with over 30 students on the team, they are still trying to grow).
Robotics introduced me to an entirely different, and deeper, meaning of what it is like to be an engineer.
- Myles Sun, Student
The team participates in FIRST Robotics, (For the Inspiration of Recognition and Technology) of a multinational competition where high school students design, construct, and drive a fully functioning robot in competitions against other teams.
These bright local students are offered the following benefits:
- Qualify for $16 million in scholarships
- Learn directly from professional engineers
- Learn to use sophisticated software and hardware
- Gain business and teamwork skills
With a mission to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership - we hope you choose to support them as well.
