Common Questions From Around The Shop

Do we install client supplied parts?
No. We want to ensure every client receives the best possible outcome so we only put in parts that we know and trust. Additionally, we warranty most parts and labor 36,000 miles and/or 36 months.
Do we charge storage fees?
We do charge storage fees. They begin 10 days after you have been notified your vehicle is ready for pick up. It is $15/day.
Will you read my “check engine” light codes at no charge?
No. Modern cars are more complicated than ever and have an average of 70-100 computers based on the different makes and models. Reading the codes also only scratches at the surface of the malfunction your car is warning you about. We recommend an evaluation with a specialist to properly investigate the issue and guarantee what is necessary to be fixed.
Do we charge for our diagnostic time?
Yes! As mentioned above, cars are more complicated. Our ASE certified technicians have spent years training and gaining experience to investigate your concerns and evaluate vehicle systems thoroughly. We are always working to make sure they have access to the latest information and tools to properly diagnose your issue in the most efficient manner possible. Most diagnostic concerns can be pinpointed on the day you drop off your car.
Is our shop a NC inspection station?
Yes! Our schedule is by appointment. Please give us a call for the next availability; however, we recommend trying to get it done in congruence with your regularly scheduled maintenance.
Do we sell and install tires?
Yes! We do not sell used tires but we can certainly get you options for new tires based on your needs and budget.
Do we work on hybrid and/or electric cars?
Yes! Please call us to discuss your particular situation and vehicle. We’ll be happy to let you know if we have any limitations.
Will my warranty be voided by using your facility?
No! The Magnusen-Moss Act was created to give you the rights to take your vehicle anywhere you so choose for service without voiding the warranty.
